How do I install the Waffle Chart extension in Tableau Desktop?
Download the
.trex manifest from your account page. In Tableau Desktop, drag the Extension object into a dashboard, choose Access Local Extensions, and select the .trex file. Approve the prompt and the extension is ready to use.How does license activation work (JWT)?
After signing in to your account, copy your license JWT from My Account > My License. Inside the extension configuration dialog, paste it and click Activate. The token is cached locally for 24 hours, so viewers keep rendering even if Dataskera servers are unreachable.
My Tableau Server admin needs to safelist the extension. What URL do I share?
Ask your Tableau Server or Cloud admin to safelist

Activation failed or my license is 'invalid'. What should I do?
First, verify that the token pasted matches the one shown in My Account (no leading/trailing spaces). Tokens expire after 15 minutes; refresh the page to regenerate. If it still fails, email support@dataskera.com with your account number (format
DS-000123).How do I export or delete my account data?
In My Account, use the Export my data button to download a JSON archive of everything we store about you, or Delete my account to erase your data permanently within 30 days.
Is Waffle Chart really free?
Yes. The Free plan gives full access to Waffle Chart at no cost, with no expiry and no credit card. Your published workbooks keep rendering and viewers are never interrupted. Paid plans will arrive with our upcoming extensions; any change to pricing is never retroactive.
